Cezanne Charles

Cezanne’s practice and research focuses on the intersection of design and technology as it relates to public policy, creative placemaking/placekeeping and urbanism. She is interested in creating experiences, environments and objects that increase engagement and participation. She earned a bachelor of arts in Theatre Studies from The Ohio State University and is currently pursuing a master of public administration from the Ford School of Public Policy at University of Michigan (anticipated 2015). She is also director of creative industries at ArtServe Michigan, the statewide advocacy and public policy organization for the creative sector in Michigan.
